Abstract

This project presents on the analysis of strain sensing performance through software simulation and experimental setup. The bare and FBG strain sensors are tested by applying strain at the grating region of the FBG and the output of the experiment is displayed on the optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) in terms of power (dBm) and wavelength (nm).
