Abstract
Abstract
This research aims to assess the influence of character education implementation and teacher attitudes towards early prevention of radical behavior (deradicalization) of junior high school students in Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang, Banten. The research method used is the Mix Method. Quantitative analysis using path analysis. Qualitative analysis using descriptive. Data collection techniques using polls, observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation. From the results of the analysis can be noted that there is a direct influence of character education (X1) against the student deradicalization (X3) of 0.9%, and the amount of direct influence of the teacher's attitude (X2) on student deradicalization (X3) of 73%. There is a direct influence of character education (X1) on teacher attitudes/concerns (X2) of 28.8%. However, the school still needs strengthening the teacher's attitude to the prevention of radicalisation carried out continuously by the teacher.
