Abstract
Communication is a human need in life, one thing is very fundamental, human communication patterns change along with the birth of information and communication technology, the Covid-19 pandemic encourages changes in the use of technology to be faster, before the pandemic meetings and the world of education have not fully used visual technology once the pandemic came the use of technology with a conference ceiling was used, thus changing the world of education today. The purpose of this study is to find out how Muhammadiyah faced the Covid-19 pandemic in an approach to the development of communication technology, hereby using the literature method, data obtained through search engines google and google scholar. The results of this study show that Muhammadiyah has utilized communication technology to the fullest, many recitations carried out by Muhammadiyah administrators using technological suggestions, things that attract Muhammadiya members on branches can follow and even invite the Muhammadiyah Central Management to fill out recitations or seminars that were difficult to happen in the days before the Covid-19 pandemic, with communication technology can be optimized to improve faith and piety, scientific content can be played anytime and anywhere without the need to attend classes.
