Abstract
Resilience is an important ability that helps students cope with various academic, social, and personal demands during adolescence. This study aimed to describe the level of resilience among eleventh-grade students at SMK Islam PB Soedirman 2 Jakarta as a basis for developing guidance and counseling services. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sample consisted of 87 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a resilience questionnaire based on the dimensions of emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that all dimensions of resilience were categorized as moderate, with percentages of 74.07% for emotion regulation, 75.32% for impulse control, 70.71% for optimism, 67.07% for causal analysis, 68.78% for empathy, 70.17% for self-efficacy, and 68.97% for reaching out. These findings indicate the need for continuous efforts to strengthen students’ resilience so that they can respond to challenges more adaptively.
