Abstract

This study aims to analyze the creative thinking skills of students of class science in senior high school of 2 Cibeber in the academic year 2019/2020 on impulse momentum material. The research method used is descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study all students of class 10 science in senior high school of 2 Cibeber. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling with a sample of 12 class 10 science students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The research instrument was in the form of a test of creative thinking ability. The test used in the form of essay questions were 5 questions of creative thinking including aspects of elaboration, originality, fluency and flexibility with an average pretest score of 41.5 and an average posttest score of 76.67, while the percentage of students' correct answers to the pretest questions amounted to 16.67% and post-test 63.34%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills in learning physics with the topic of impulse momentum.
