Abstract
This bibliometric research focuses on mapping applied mathematics research based on google scholar data. This research
is conducted to find out the development of applied mathematics research. Data collection is done based on a google
scholar database with applied mathematic keywords, publication categories are journals, and a sample of 500 journals.
Data collection is done using Publish or Perish (PoP) software. Data analysis is done descriptively based on the year of
publication, publisher name, researcher productivity, and applied mathematics research trends. PoP is used to get accurate
research development data. Data analysis is done using Excel and VOSViewer. The results illustrate that the trend of
applied mathematics publications from 2005-2021 decreased linearly whereas the number of publications increased by 68
articles in 2007 published by Elsevier. The most prolific researcher is Dr. S. Arulselvi with the publication of 6 articles.
VOSViewer visualization also shows that applied mathematics research that is still rarely studied is related to adomian
decomposition, numerical solution, and homotopy perturbation method.
