A Brain Capacito-meter Study ispublished: pub subjects: Q1 abstract: Human brain activities in video gamings had been studied by using many kinds of neuroimagings such as EEG and fNIRS. Electric-field-based neuroimaging is a novel emerging method of functional neuroimaging that particularly suited to clinical neuroscience research. It has major advantages like non-invasive and real-time measurement. In this study, we investigated for the first time the voltage value changes of the adolescent while playing the video game. Two-electrodes brain capacitometer was placed over the Fp1 region, which represents prefrontal cortex of left hemisphere, during video gaming. We found the same pattern of voltage value changes in two kinds of video games played. Both of them showed an increase in voltage value in tasking period followed by a decrease in voltage value on the resting period. Based on this study, we propose that voltage value changes detected by brain capacitometer would be an alternative method to assess brain activity during video gaming date: 2016-07 date_type: published publisher: Wiley Online Library official_url: https://doi.org/10.1002/ijop.12334 full_text_status: public publication: International Journal of Psychology volume: 51 number: S1 pagerange: 859-871 refereed: TRUE citation: Edison, Rizki Edmi dan Anisa, Yayu Hizza dan Ihsan, Muhammad Fathul dan Nurfauzi, Rizki dan Maharani, Rizki (2016) Investigation of Voltage ValueChanges on Human Brain duringVideo Gaming.
