Bio-Oil Against Female Winstar Rats creator: H N Andjani, Andjani creator: Y Sentosa, Sentosa creator: YATI, KORI creator: A Fauzantoro, Fauzantoro creator: M Gozan, Gozan creator: Y J Yoo, Yoo subject: H Social Sciences description: Tobacco plants are notably known for its pesticidal properties, particularly due to its nicotine content. In this study, Nicotiana tabacum L. bio-oil was obtained using pyrolysis technique. The safety of the bio-oil to be used as bioinsecticide was analyzed through acute oral toxicity test by administering 5000 mg bio-oil/kg body weight of female winstar rats that were analogous to humans. It was concluded that the bio-oil was not toxic due to absence of mortality and no significant change in the body weight and behavior of the rats. publisher: IOP Publishing type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: http://repository.uhamka.ac.id/id/eprint/745/1/Andjani_2019_IOP_Conf._Ser.__Earth_Environ._Sci._353_012047.pdf identifier: H N Andjani, Andjani dan Y Sentosa, Sentosa dan YATI, KORI dan A Fauzantoro, Fauzantoro dan M Gozan, Gozan dan Y J Yoo, Yoo Acute Oral Toxicity Test of Nicotiana tabacum L.
