Altingia excelsa Noronha terhadap viabilitas sel kanker payudara MCF-7 secara in vitro.&#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental, yang kemudian terbagi&#13;
menjadi kelompok kontrol serta kelompok perlakuan dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak&#13;
39,06; 78,125; 156,25; dan 312,5 μg/mL. Karakterisasi senyawa aktif fitokimia dianalisis&#13;
menggunakan instrumen Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) yang&#13;
memperlihatkan dominasi senyawa golongan terpenoid dan ester asam lemak. Efek&#13;
perlakuan dievaluasi berdasarkan pengamatan kualitatif perubahan morfologi sel&#13;
menggunakan mikroskop inversi yang memperlihatkan adanya tanda kerusakan sel akibat&#13;
paparan ekstrak berupa gejala pengerutan (cell shrinkage), perubahan bentuk menjadi&#13;
membulat (cell rounding), serta akumulasi debris sel seiring peningkatan konsentrasi&#13;
perlakuan. Uji viabilitas kuantitatif dilakukan dengan metode MTT assay dan di lakukan&#13;
analisis data menggunakan uji One-Way ANOVA dan analisis regresi linear untuk&#13;
menentukan nilai Inhibitory Concentration 50 (IC50). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa&#13;
ekstrak metanol daun Rasamala mampu menurunkan viabilitas sel MCF-7 secara signifikan&#13;
seiring peningkatan konsentrasi perlakuan (dose-dependent manner) dengan p &lt; 0,0001.&#13;
Nilai IC50 ekstrak metanol daun Rasamala terhadap sel MCF-7 diperoleh sebesar 191,67&#13;
μg/mL yang menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik kategori sedang (moderate cytotoxic&#13;
activity).&#13;
