Untuk menilai kondisi tersebut, dilakukan pemeriksaan bedside echocardiography (Point-of-Care Echocardiography/POCUS) pada dua pasien dengan diagnosis syok septik dan syok kardiogenik di Unit Perawatan Intensif RSUD Tarakan melalui pengukuran parameter LVEF, LVOT, LVOT-VTI, E/e', TAPSE, TR Vmax, serta diameter dan distensibilitas IVC. Metode: Studi Kasus Hasil: Pemeriksaan menunjukkan perbedaan karakteristik parameter ekokardiografi dan profil hemodinamik antara pasien syok septik dan syok kardiogenik sehingga dapat membedakan mekanisme hemodinamik kedua jenis syok. Kesimpulan: Pemeriksaan ekokardiografi bedside membantu membedakan profil hemodinamik pada pasien syok septik dan syok kardiogenik sehingga mendukung penegakan diagnosis dan penentuan terapi pada pasien kritis.
