%X This research is motivated by changes in parenting patterns due to developments over time which have the potential to influence the preservation of cultural values in families, including Betawi cultural families. This research aims to describe a picture of  Betawi  cultural  family  parenting,  parental  involvement,  instilling  values  and character, the role of fathers in children's education, factors that influence parenting, and the challenges parents face in raising children. The research uses a qualitative approach  with  descriptive  methods.  The  research  participants  consisted  of  five parents who came from Betawi cultural families and were selected using purposive sampling  techniques.  Data  was  collected  through  semi-structured  interviews, observation  and  documentation,  then  analyzed  using  an  interactive  model  which included  data  reduction,  data  display  and  conclusions.  Data  analysis  was  also supported by the use of NVivo 14 software to visualize research themes. The results of  the  research  show  that  Betawi  cultural  family  parenting  tends  to  lead  to  a democratic  parenting  pattern  which  is  characterized  by  two-way  communication, giving  clear  rules,  supervision,  and  parental  example.  The  involvement  of  fathers and mothers is carried out collaboratively in meeting children's physical, emotional and educational needs. The instilling of Betawi cultural values and religious values is  carried  out  through  habituation  and  example.  Factors  that  influence  parenting include parental education, social environment, technological developments, busy work, and extended family support. The main challenges faced by parents are the use  of  gadgets,  environmental  influences,  maintaining  consistent  rules,  and managing children's emotions.
