One internal factor that plays a crucial role in maintaining mental balance is self-efficacy, defined as the belief in one?s ability to face challenges and achieve goals. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being among students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Prof. DR. HAMKA. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational survey method. The population consisted of 354 students, 188 selected as samples through stratified random sampling. Data analysis using Pearson correlation revealed a strong positive relationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being (r = 0.768; p < 0.05), where students with high self-efficacy had better psychological well-being. These findings highlight the important role of self-efficacy in improving students? psychological well-being and provide a foundation for educational institutions to develop relevant psychological support programs.
