"University students often face academic and social pressures that can affect their\r\npsychological well-being. One internal factor that plays a crucial role in maintaining mental\r\nbalance is self-efficacy, defined as the belief in one’s ability to face challenges and achieve goals.\r\nThis study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being\r\namong students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at Muhammadiyah University\r\nof Prof. DR. HAMKA. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational\r\nsurvey method. The population consisted of 354 students, 188 selected as samples through\r\nstratified random sampling. Data analysis using Pearson correlation revealed a strong positive\r\nrelationship between self-efficacy and psychological well-being (r = 0.768; p < 0.05), where\r\nstudents with high self-efficacy had better psychological well-being. These findings highlight\r\nthe important role of self-efficacy in improving students’ psychological well-being and provide\r\na foundation for educational institutions to develop relevant psychological support programs."^^ . . .
