%D 2022 %X Background: One of nutrition problem in children aged 10-12 years is overweight. Changes in food consumption patterns such as high energy density foods as well as low consumption of vegetables and is thought to be a trigger factor for the high prevalence of over nutrition in children. Purpose: The purpose is to determine the relationship of dietary energy density, protein intake density, and fiber intake density to nutritional status. Methods: This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design and a sample of 46 children aged 10- 12. Data were collected by interview method, anthropometric measurement and observation. The statistical analysis used was Spearman's correlation. Result: The results showed that 4.3% of the children were underweight, 69.6% were normal and 26.1% were overweight. Most children have sufficient energy and protein intake densities but low in fiber intake. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between energy consumption density and protein intake density with children nutritional status.
