%X Data shows low ECDI achievement in Banten Province and high stunting rate in 
Pandeglang District, Banten, due to the lack of access to health and education, as well as 
the low economy of the community. This study aims to determine the relationship 
between nutritional status and gross motor development of children. The research method 
used was cross sectional observational with a sample of 38 children in kindergartens in 
Cimanuk District, Pandeglang Regency. Primary data was collected through 
anthropometric measurements and the use of Test Of Gross Motor Development 2 
(TGMD-2) instrument, then analyzed using Statistical Program For Social Science 
(SPSS) software and analyzed using spearman test. The results showed the highest 
percentage distribution, about 84.2% had good nutritional status and about 86.8% had 
superior gross motor development. The highest percentage cross tabulation results 
showed 84.4% of children had good nutritional status with superior gross motor 
development. The study shows the results of the analysis with a value of (p value = 
0.313), it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, meaning that there is 
no significant relationship between nutritional status and gross motor development of 
children measured using the Test Of Gross Motor Development 2 (TGMD2) instrument in 
kindergartens in the Cimanuk District area.
