abstract: The writer compiled this module to help students how to read Academic Reading. There are some tips and strategies that can help students understand the content of the reading. Reading strategies are adapted from “ Longman Preparation for TOEFL Test “and other supporting books for practice answering questions. It is expected that by using adequate reading strategies and exercises, students become eager to read academic writing. Before the midterms students are taught reading strategies as well as intensive exercises. The exercises are taken from online reading books such as the "Reading Comprehension Questions" 3rd Edition.
After the mid term test, students will be provided with reading materials related to their major. The materials were taken from differen sources.
