%A Rifma Rifma Ghulam Dzaljad %P 54-78 %I FKIP, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof.DR.HAMKA %L repository424 %J Tajdid ( Jurnal Studi Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan ) %X This essay figures out the relationship between paradigms of poverty and community empowerment, examines some notions and practices of empowerment in Indonesia, and looks at how a sort of Islamic liberative theology might inspire future practices and movements in the country.
