        abstract = {Ethnomathematics is an understanding that makes culture a concrete form in constructing mathematical concepts. Ethnomathematics learning can help students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts and preserve Indonesian culture through an introduction to that culture. This research aims to investigate the symbolic meaning and ethnomathematics elements found in the Great Mosque of Al-Barkah. This research is qualitative research with a realist ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The study results prove that the Great Mosque of Al-Barkah has geometric elements (rhombuses and cuboids) and geometric transformations (reflections, rotations, and translations). Also, there are symbolic meanings in parts of the mosque. Thus, ethnomathematical elements were found in the mosque. The results of this discovery can be used as learning media and sample questions for learning mathematics at all levels of education (elementary, junior high school, and senior high school).},
