This paper, as part of a study to foster learner autonomy using technology based approach, investigated the roles of online peer feedback toward learner autonomy development. The data used in this study involved students’ interview transcriptions. The results showed that online peer feedback has facilitated students’ metacognitive strategies and enhanced their motivation to learn writing.
