TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH ispublished: pub subjects: R subjects: RS divisions: 48201 abstract: Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah penyakit pada kesehatan masyarakat yang utama di negara maju dan berkembang. Hipertensi adalah tekanan darah tinggi sistolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi kesehatan yang membahayakan nyawa bila dibiarkan dan dapat menyebabkan peningkatan risiko terjadinya penyakit jantung, stroke, hingga kematian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai perkembangan tanaman rosela (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) dengan kandungan senyawa kimia dan uji aktivitas sebagai antihipertensi, bila ditinjau dari Narrative Review hasil dari jurnal yang ditemukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) memiliki kandungan senyawa kimia yang terkandung yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, terpenoid, triterpenoid, glikosida, glikosida jantung, karbohidrat, fenolik, sterol, hidroquinon. Hasil Narrative Review uji aktivitas antihipertensi rosela (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) efektif menurunkan hipertensi dengan mekanisme pra klinik dan klinik.
