China dipercaya sebagai tempat pertama kali jeruk tumbuh. Tanaman ini berpotensi sebagai bahan obat antiseptik, penenang, untuk mengobati asma dan batuk. Banyak sekali kegunaan tanaman ini untuk pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data kandungan kimia serta aktivitas antioksidan dan antibakteri tanaman jeruk mandarin sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang dapat digunakan guna pengembangan obat tradisional baru. Metode penelitian menggunakan Narrative review. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa literatur primer yang diperoleh dengan database electronic kemudian diseleksi berasarkan pendekatan kriteria jurnal dan dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil narrative review menunjukkan bahwa tanaman jeruk mandarin memiliki aktivitas antioksidan melalui metode DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, ORAC dan β-Carotene Bleaching dengan nilai lC50 tertinggi pada metode DPPH. Serta hasil aktivitas antibakteri tanaman jeruk mandarin mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri gram positif dan bakteri gram negatif. Kandungan kimia utama tanaman jeruk mandarin adalah golongan terpen dengan senyawa utama limonen sebesar 97,94% yang terdapat pada bagian kulit buahnya dan senyawa asam sitrat dan asam malat yang melimpah dibagian buahnya.
