Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik narrative review berupa gabungan antara hasil analisa dan informasi yang berpusat pada temuan, meringkas dan dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Tujuan dilakukan ulasan artikel ini untuk mengulas kembali artikel-artikel penelitian terkait ekstraksi senyawa antioksidan pada tanaman famili ini dengan menggunakan Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE) dan Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE). Berdasarkan hasil ulasan artikel dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa metode ekstraksi UAE dan MAE memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional karena dapat meningkatkan efisiensi ekstraksi dan meningkatkan hasil ekstraksi untuk senyawa antioksidan.
