%X This paper has surveyed the role of innovation technology In regional economics development. It is focused on strategic innovation for regional development with main objective to find a foundation for the existence of model. For these purposes, international experiences mostly from developed country will be analysed. Theories and practices will also be presented to complete policy formulation.
