The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an influence between each type of personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, negative emotional/neuroticism and openness to experience) on death anxiety. The respondents in this study were 125 male and female Covid-19 volunteers. The data collection method uses the Big Five Inventory-2 Short (BFI-2S) scale by Soto \& John (2017) and the Death anxiety Scale by Templer (1970) via google form which is analyzed using a multiple linear regression process using IBM SPSS version 25. The results showed that personality extraversion type R2 change = 0.017 with P = 0.149, personality type agreeableness R2 change = 0.147 with P = 0.000, personality conscientiousness type R2 change = 0.063 with P = 0.002, personality type negative emotional/neuroticism R2 change = 0.000 with P = 0.784 and the type of personality openness to experience/open mindedness R2 change = 0.000 with P = 0.968. That is, the type of personality agreeableness and conscientiousness have a significant effect on death anxiety, while the type of personality extraversion, negative emotional/neuroticism and openness to experience/open mindedness have no significant effect on death anxiety. The implication of this study is that personality can affect the occurrence of death anxiety in a person, especially the type of personality agreeableness and conscientiousness.}, author = {TRESNAWATY, YULISTIN}, url = {http://repository.uhamka.ac.id/id/eprint/17503/} }
