Assumptions given in this slab waveguide is used for wavelength (?) 1.55 ?m, the thickness (d) of the core is 0.9 ?m with a type of symmetric step-index slab waveguide, refractive index of n1 is 3.5 and refractive index of n2 is 3, also n3= n1. The results of analysis are presented in graphical form by combining TE0 mode, TE1 mode and TE2 mode.
