Terhadap Enzim Hmg-Coa Reductase Sebagai Antihiperkolesterolemia ispublished: pub subjects: RS divisions: 48201 abstract: Biji pepaya (Carica papaya L.) memiliki beberapa kandungan senyawa yang diduga memiliki efek penurunan kadar kolesterol dengan mekanisme sebagai penghambat enzim HMG-CoA reductase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui senyawa terbaik manakah dari biji pepaya yang memiliki interaksi dan afinitas terbaik terhadap enzim HMG-CoA reductase. Mekanisme interaksi molekul antara ligan-reseptor dapat dilakukan melalui metode molecular docking dengan software PLANTS. Ligan ditambatkan pada reseptor HMG-CoA reductase. Analisa interaksi ikatan hidrogen dilakukan melalui metode visualisasi menggunakan software Molegro Molecular Viewer (MMV). Adapun ligan dari kandungan senyawa pada biji pepaya yaitu, karpain, benzil isothiosinat, benzil glukosinolat, glukotropeolin, benzil tiourea, asam oleat, dan β-sitosterol. Hasil interaksi ligan-reseptor pada senyawa kandungan biji pepaya (Carica papaya L.) terhadap reseptor HMG-CoA reductase, diperoleh satu senyawa terbaik, yaitu benzil glukosinolat yang memiliki ChemPLP score sebesar -90,5491 kkal/mol serta memiliki sebanyak delapan interaksi ikatan hidrogen dan berpotensi untuk dapat dikembangkan sebagai kandidat obat antihiperkolesterolemia. date: 2018 date_type: completed full_text_status: restricted institution: Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR.
